Arsenal to move for £8 million England midfielder.
Arsenal are preparing an £8 million bid for Manchester City midfielder Michael Johnson after is was reported that the England under-21 international has rejected a new deal Eastlands. Johnson has progressed through the ranks at the City of Manchester stadium and has proved to be a superb asset for City.
It now appears as though Mark Hughes could be losing one of his prized assets in Johnson due to interest from Arsenal. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is ready to make an £8 million for the 20-year, a bid which City may be forced to accept due to Johnson's determination to leave the club.
As a Arsenal fan myself I am obviously hoping we keep trying to sign of Michael. He is a terrific prospect for the future and I personally feel he will become an England regular within the next 1 years. Plz buy him A.S.A.P

Arsenal prepare bid for Real Madrid midfielder Ruben de la Red
Manager Arsene Wenger is determined to sign another midfielder before the start of the season, even after the acquisition of such playmakers as Samir Nasri and Aaron Ramsey, and can use the money from the sale of Alexander Hleb to meet Madrid’s £9.5 million valuation of De la Red.
Arsenal, also linked with unsettled Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso along with Barry, have been tracking the progress of De la Red, who has just returned from an impressive loan spell at Getafe, prompting Madrid — who would be unable to deploy him regularly in their first team — to try to cash in on the 23-year-old’s talents. De la Red, who scored his first goal for Spain at this summer’s European Championship and was a substitute in the friendly against Arsenal on Sunday, said: “I am not closing the door to any team. I like the Premier League and the way they play their football.”

Arsenal signs Portugal under-21 midfielder Amaury Bischoff
Arsenal has signed Portugal under-21 midfielder Amaury Bischoff from Werder Bremen.
The French-born Bischoff, who can play either in the centre of midfield or on the right, played just one game for Bremen last season. He will wear No. 28 for the Gunners - indicating that Bischoff may be a squad player rather than a regular first choice.
Arsenal did not give any financial details of the transfer.
The 21-year-old Bischoff started his career with spells at French clubs SR Colmar and Strasbourg before moving to Bremen in 2005. He played for France's under-18 team before switching his allegiance to Portugal.
